Assetto Corsa EVO lap comparison: see exactly where you lose time

Pick a track and a car, choose a faster lap as the reference and compare it with yours. ACE Coach splits the track into microsectors and shows where every tenth goes.

Animation of the ACE Coach comparison panel: throttle and brake columns of two laps, steering, yaw rate, gears and the tyre and brake data of each car, changing through a corner
The comparison panel in the Advanced view, moving through a corner. Two real laps of two testers.

From the whole lap to a single corner

The overview shows the gap microsector by microsector and the total gap, plus the minimum speed you carried through each corner compared with the reference. Click a corner on the track map, or a microsector in the table, to open the detail.

The Sector report

Where you are slower, the Sector report says in plain words what to do differently: you braked too early or too late, you slowed down too much, you turned in late, you got back on the throttle late, you braked too hard, you used the wrong gear, you were too close to the inside at the braking point.

Inside the corner

Open a corner and see a dynamic map of both lines coloured by braking (red) and throttle (green), and the inputs side by side, at the exact same point of the corner:

Theoretical Best

The Theoretical Best lap is built from the fastest sector of each of your laps, or of every driver on the leaderboard. It shows what you could do by putting your best corners together.

Play it back

A playback slider moves both cars through the corner, seen from above, so you can see where they separate.

Built for Assetto Corsa EVO

The comparison understands the car versions of Assetto Corsa EVO (for example the Mazda MX-5 ND versions), so you are always compared with laps of the same car.
